Volunteer Opportunities

One of the unique aspects of an independent school experience is that the involvement of parents is not only welcomed, but encouraged and needed. At Lancaster Country Day School, the personal investment of all parents in their children's education is an integral part of the School's philosophy. Gifts of volunteer time provide invaluable support to the School. Such support gives parents a better understanding of LCDS as well as providing an avenue to get to know other parents, faculty members and staff, as well as the friends of their children.

The Parents Association, Admission Office and Development Office play a significant role in sponsoring and supporting volunteer activities for parents, alumni, and other members of the Lancaster Country Day School community. As you will see listed below, there are many ways to get involved. We would greatly appreciate if you could dedicate even a small amount of volunteer time to the School. In doing so, we feel parents will discover how their involvement can enhance not only their own lives, but also their child's (or children's) educational experience.
